Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services operated by 镜简AI (JingJian AI) (“we”, “us”, or “our”), available at shadedegree.com and its subdomains. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Description of Service
镜简AI provides AI-powered image generation services (including commercial food photography images) and AI-powered short video generation services. Usage is metered through a unified prepaid wallet (credits/积分) linked to your account.
2. Accounts and Registration
You must provide a valid email address to register. We support email registration and third-party login via Facebook and Google. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture, which we use solely to create and identify your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under it.
3. Credits and Payment
Credits are prepaid virtual balances used to pay for generation services. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe / WooPayments). Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash. Credits consumed by successfully completed generations are not refundable; where a generation fails due to a system error, the deducted credits will be returned to your wallet.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, pornographic, violent, or that promotes discrimination or harm. You must not use the services to create misleading content, impersonate others, or violate the rights of any third party.
5. User Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the images and materials you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the services. Generated results are provided to you and may be used for lawful purposes, including commercial use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you upload.
6. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with trusted third parties: Google and Facebook (authentication), Stripe / WooPayments (payment processing), and cloud object storage providers (asset storage). These parties process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.
8. Termination
You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the services unlawfully.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
